On the 13th of October, in Gurjaani Municipality, signing ceremony of the Letter of Intent between the Kakheti Region and the Autonomous Community of La Rioja was conducted. The Letter of Intent was signed by the State Attorney - Governor in the Kakheti Region – Irakli Kadagishvili and the Counselor of Economic Development and Innovation of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja - Leonor González Menorca.

On the basis of the Letter of Intent a working group will be composed by the representatives of both sides. The task of the group is to identify the mutual fields of action, share the experience, define cooperation opportunities and implement mutual initiatives in the following directions:

● Winemaking and other fields of Agriculture;

● Economic, Business and Tourism;

● Education, Culture, Sport;

● Trainings and Seminars on Social Affairs.
