Illegal timber extraction and Environment problems were the main topics at the meeting held in Telavi by the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia. At the meeting focus was made on the illegal timber extraction in the Alazani groves and some legislative changes were underlined in this direction. The Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia – Mr. Gigla Agulashvili spoke about current challenges and future plans of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia. The Meeting was held in a question – answer mode. The State- Attorney – Governor of kakheti – Mr. Irakli Kadagishvili, the Deputy Governors, Entrepreneurs, the representatives of different offices and local self government bodies were attended at the meeting.
