The State Attorney-Governor hosted the South African delegation.

The State Attorney-Governor – Irakli Kadagishvili met with the head of the South African company (GSMEG) – Simon Clark and the Chairman of the Commerce Chamber – Marius Hans.
The aim of meeting was the development of the mutual collaboration in the field of sport.
At the meeting it became evident that the cooperation would start with rugby and basketball. The talk was also about the modern concept of the sport development and its realization in Kakheti Region. The delegation members looked through the sport facilities.
The State Attorney-Governor made the introduction of the economic potential of the Kakheti Region in the fields of sport and tourism for the invited guests.
The conversation went about the future cooperation issues between the Kakheti Region and the Western Cape Province of the Republic of South Africa. The Chairman of the Commerce Chamber in South Africa and Georgia – Marius Hans and the Georgian Ambassador plenipotentiary to the Republic of South Africa – Beka Dvali are actively involved to enhance the above-mentioned cooperation.
The Deputy State Attorney-Governor –Irakli Shioshvili, the Deputy Mayor of Telavi –Tengiz Mtvarelishvili and the Executive Director of the Regional Development Agency –Tamar Shaoshvili were attended at the meeting.
