On the 3rd of March, 2016 the Agreement of trade-economic and socio-cultural cooperation between the Executive Committee of Minsk Oblast and the Administration of the State Attorney – Governor of the Kakheti Region was signed. According to the Agreement the future cooperation between the two regions is planned in the following directions: industry, agriculture, trade, education, healthcare, culture and art. In the Framework of the fourth session of the Georgian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Economic Commission the programme of the implementation of the Agreement between the Executive Committee of Minsk Oblast and the Administration of the State Attorney – Governor of the Kakheti Region was signed. The Programme was signed by the State Attorney – Governor of Kakheti – Mr. Irakli Kadagishvili and the deputy chairman of the Executive Committee of Minsk Oblast – Mr. Oleg Plavski.

During the official visit in Belarus the State Attorney – Governor – Mr. Irakli Kadagishvili together with the Vice-Prime Minister of Georgia – Mr. Dimitry Kumsishvili officially met the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus – Mr. Andrei Kobyakov.

During the official visit in Belarus the State Attorney – Governor – Mr. Irakli Kadagishvili also attended the official award ceremony of the Belarusian rescuers for hard working activities to extinguish a fire in Borjomi ravine in the summer of 2017.
